The mission of Soldiers magazine is to provide, in print format, accurate and timely information about Army operations and policies to Soldiers, their families and select members of government.

The beauty, charm and excitement of South Korea have made the Asian nation one of the most soughtafter assignments in the Army.

KOREA is a land of contrasts. Ancient temples and palaces nestle into hillsides as highrise apartment buildings spring up everywhere. It is one of the most wired, tech-savvy nations in the world, but is also filled with traditional markets and rice paddies. A long flight from the U.S., it requires only short hops to China, Japan, Thailand and other places in Asia.
